Warranty Information

We provide warranty cover across our product range in line with the applicable manufacturer or supplier warranty terms. Warranty periods and coverage vary depending on the product and are outlined below.

Manufacturer and supplier warranties are provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Beer Pumps & Accessories

Selected products are covered by a 1-year warranty, where specified on the product page.
Warranty cover generally applies to manufacturing defects arising under normal use.
Products must be used and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

If an item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us with your order reference and photographs where possible.

Garden Buildings

Selected timber structures are covered by a 10-year guarantee against rot and decay, where specified by the manufacturer.
Components such as roofing felt, hinges and locks may carry a separate 12-month warranty, depending on the product.

Conditions of Cover

Manufacturer guarantee conditions may require that the building:

Is assembled correctly according to the supplied instructions.
Is installed on a firm, level base.
Is treated inside and out shortly after delivery and maintained regularly thereafter.
Has all glazing properly sealed.

Exclusions

Manufacturer guarantees may exclude:

Natural characteristics of timber, including knots, warping and splitting.
Damage caused by incorrect assembly, inadequate maintenance or unauthorised modifications.
Water ingress resulting from incorrect installation or maintenance.

Timber is a natural material and requires regular maintenance to preserve its condition and lifespan.

Refrigeration Equipment

Products are typically supplied with a 1–2 year warranty, depending on the model and manufacturer.
Warranty cover may include parts and labour or parts only, as specified on the relevant product page.
Labour warranty services are generally limited to eligible UK mainland locations.

Important Notes

Warranty cover generally applies to manufacturing defects arising under normal use.
Routine maintenance, misuse, incorrect installation, accidental damage and unauthorised repairs are generally excluded from manufacturer warranty cover.
Consumable components and items subject to normal wear and tear may be excluded from warranty coverage.
Service visits may be chargeable where an issue is found to fall outside the applicable warranty.
Some manufacturers apply additional conditions to labour cover, including requirements relating to maintenance, equipment location and safe engineer access.

Lighting

Lighting fittings manufactured by Mullan Lighting are covered by a 5-year manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase.
The warranty applies to eligible fittings manufactured by Mullan Lighting.
Light bulbs and components sourced from external suppliers are excluded from Mullan Lighting's five-year warranty.
Other lighting products may have different warranty terms, as specified on their product pages.

Making a Warranty Claim

To request warranty support:

Contact us at info@themodernbar.co.uk with your order reference.
Provide a description of the issue and photographs where possible.
We may request additional information or basic troubleshooting checks to help identify the fault.

We will review your request and coordinate with the relevant supplier or manufacturer to arrange an appropriate resolution.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected by any manufacturer's warranty conditions or exclusions.
